The Creative Kindness® Foundation is a non-profit 501(c)(3) corporation that spreads kindness to millions of people across the world.
Why We Do It:
Handmade cards and scrapbooks have the ability to lift and heal. Our mission is to help people find happiness and healing through the creation and donation of handmade gifts.
How We Got Here:
Scrapbook.com founder, Jill Davis, an avid crafter, believed deeply in the power of handmade creation and knew that handmade gifts could spread light and kindness throughout the world. Her passion was passed on to her sons, Drex and McKane Davis and the rest of the Scrapbook.com team. In 2020, Scrapbook.com initiated the Cards for Kindness program, rallying compassionate volunteers to create handmade cards for those in need. The program rapidly evolved into a global movement. To broaden its impact, The Creative Kindness Foundation was established as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, overseeing Cards for Kindness and similar charitable endeavors. What We Do:
Creative Kindness orchestrates a symphony of goodwill, connecting creative volunteers with those in need.
Volunteers From Around The World Create And Send Handmade Cards & Scrapbook Pages To Us.
We Organize and Sort these Cards, Create Scrapbooks, and Send These Handmade Gifts to Our Partner Organizations.
Partners Distribute These Cards and Scrapbook Albums Along With Handwritten Messages to Those In Need.
Our Impact:
Through our Cards for Kindness® initiative, we have received over a million handmade cards from volunteer card makers from all over the world. We distribute cards, through our distribution partners, to those in need of an uplifting message or cheer.
Through our In Loving Memory program, we donate beautiful albums to bereaved individuals who have lost a beloved parent, child, spouse, or close relative. We send the kits to our distribution partner organizations which then give them to bereaved individuals.
We continue to expand our program offerings to bring joy and kindness to more people around the world.
